I always come out with Huge satisfaction! Freshness and the service itself! Perfect place for korean style sashimi!

Love the fresh fluke sashimi combo... came with a variety of appetizers (about 4 to 5 types can't remember exactly), assorted sashimi is fresh. End the whole meal with a bowl of hot soup from the remaining fluke, the best. Portion is quite generous. Service is great, came happy, left happy. The only thing is parking. I am not sure if they have valet.

4.5 stars: Exceptionally unique sushi eating experience. Prices may seem very high at first but works out ok (30-40pp) if you come with 4-6 to your party. Group dining is a must!! Very fresh, very unique sashimi offering such as abalone, sweet shrimp, lobster, uni. The platters you get come with several courses of side dishes. You will be stuffed at the end! Absolutely loved the mussel soup, the whole fish cooked on stone slab was destroyed in minutes (that good), and the seafood soup at the end. Seafood soup at the end is essentially the same as the hot pot offered next door. They waste nothing here (you eat everything you paid for) so the decorative lobster on your boat platter is in your soup. Soo yum. Very friendly staff.

Came here twice within two weeks after discovering this place. They have exceptional customer service and quality sashimi here. The first time I came here we had a party of 3 and ordered the sashimi boat which cost about $175 and the menu said it serves 3-4 people but I think it can serve more then 4 people. The boat came with plenty of side dishes like seafood pancake, soup noodles, spicy tuna wrapped in seaweed, and seafood soup. The second time we came we decided to get something smaller. We ordered the special assorted sashimi which also came with all the side dishes. We still had leftovers in the end but not as much as the first time. My favourite is their salmon sashimi. The waiters and waitresses were all very nice and they explained what each sashimi was and the best way to eat it which was really appreciated. Definitely will come back in the future.

Came here for dinner which a party of 4 on a saturday night. This place gets packed so either go early or make a reservation. It's not a big place so it gets busy pretty quickly. We got the Fluke platter for $180 and it was so much food! It's more like a course dinner with side dishes coming after each round. All the sides were delicious and the fluke was very fresh. The only thing that was weak was the jigae(soup) at the end of the meal. It took about 30 minutes to make which definitely detracted from the experience. It's pretty expensive here but the food was great, the service for the most part attentive, and the decor very warm. It feels like you're in a boat house in Korea, although, I've never been in a boat house in Korea. I woudl give it a 4.5 stars but it's pretty pricey, server gave us attitude, and the last dish took forever, so it rounds down to 4. With that said, I would come back again, because it was a great experience. Could be a pretty fun date place as well. FYI, they have valet parking next to Shigaek.

Right now probably the best place for korean style sushi "hwa-ro". the "sukidashi - extra stuff they give with main order" is good and consistent. Sushi is fresh "of course it's supposed to be from live fish, duh". Price is good, ambiance is for drinking "heavily, LOL" and service is good.

I didn't know they had Lunch Special hour. I used to go only for dinner and I was blown away by their Lunch. For the price, it was fantastic! The variety, portion, the visual, and freshness, Almost an Art. The best Sushi place ever. (I gave 3 stars a while ago and deleted the review, because one server was scratching head and talking over food, I don't see those behaviors any more, Thank you!)

This Sea Story had a Mediocre Ending Shik Gek's success has led to the expansion of the restaurant/Korean seafood pub. Bada story or (sea story) is Shik Gek's interpretation of a high-class Korean sashimi specialty restaurant. We ordered the fresh fluke for two with accompaniments for an extra charge. The fresh fish and was presented in the shape of elegant balls resembling flowers. I have no complaints about the quality of the sashimi except for the price. The accompaniments were limited to a small squid salad, thin seafood pancake, mussels in a simple cloudy broth, steamed egg, and a spicy seafood stew. The side dishes were meager compared to other Korean sashimi restaurants in Flushing. The fish was fresh but didn't justify the inflated cost. Although, you don't really go to a Korean sashimi place for the side dishes; the supporting actors in this story failed to carry the main character to the grande finale. There were no fireworks nor food coma following the end of this meal. I rather get a freshly cut fileted fluke from fishmongers Han Yang market for around thirty bucks along with a two dollar pack of pickled ginger from H mart and throw my own pescatarian friendly palooza at home. The end.

One of the better places that I came for Korean style sashimi. Fresh fish and lots of sides that area good.

Expensive but worth the trip. They have authentic korean sashimi. The waiters and waitresses are great. They were quick with orders and kindly suggested their opinions when needed. They also have korean alcohol to go with your ultimate sashimi experience.

I went for lunch on a Saturday. The lunch menu is served even on a weekend. Although not many choices to choose from, the prices are significantly cheaper than the dinner menu. A friend and I went for the $60 Korean-styled sashimi platter. This was supposed to be a small sized platter, but it can definitely feed 3 people. The platter included sushi, corn and cheese, steamed egg dish, seafood Korean pancakes, and a medium-sized stew. The food tasted like what you would expect. The sashimi tasted fresh, and all the side dishes were good. I wish there were more tofu or fish meat in the stew, and I was hoping sashimi would be cut into smaller pieces, just like Korean style--maybe more is served for dinner. One big flaw was that the servers were rude (not sure if they were having a bad day) considering that the place was not full. But, I don't judge a restaurant particularly by its service. Overall, I would come here again for lunch--good portion for good price.

The food is extremely fresh...friendly service. The two of us ordered the Sashimi special. I was really surprise how thick the Sashimi slices were. I guess that's the difference between Korean and Japanese style Sashimi. We couldn't believe how much food we got. At the end, we had to take some of the food home. I would come again but next time I'll order something a lot smaller

My family and I visited here for lunch on a weekend and got the 6 person course. All I can say is that we ate our hearts out. The food here is incredibly well-made, everything is strong in presentation, flavor, service, and decor. All the plates they provide are just beyond knock outs and I am so glad that I found a Korean-style seafood restaurant in New York. Nothing like it in Manhattan so it's well worth the trip!

Sister restaurant to Sik Gaek! All of their sushi and sashimi is very fresh! The best part - the live octopus! For all seafood enthusiasts, this is your place! Prices may seem a bit high but when it's split amongst a group, it's really not that bad! You also get a million things to eat along with the sushi and sashimi when you order the sets!

I am Big Fan on this place always come once a month with family and friends. Service is great! quality of sashimi excellent!! Not only the food, decor of the plating is so tasteful and awesome. i couldn't believe my eye. Price come be in high-end but you get what you pay for..... highly recommend this place better than most place in the city.

Wow I love this place!! They go above and beyond to keep their customers happy with pure customer service. Not only is Bada the best sushi spot in queens but ordering to go is just as delicious and they don't miss a single thing. Been coming back and always will be back.

well, i ate the assorted sushi platter by myself. that's traditionally reserved for a party of two. i didnt do it because i had to; that's for certain. i just saw no reason to do anything but continue indulging in the most pristine raw seafood i've yet found. i'm telling you, though, sip the soup and the tea to ease the stomach; it's near necessity for a party of one and these platter sizes.

  • Christy L.

Came here as a party of 2 and we left stuffed and had to take some leftovers home! We ordered the sashimi combo for 2 and it came with a plethora of food enough to feed a small village (I'm not kidding). Our meal included a seafood pancake, cold noodles with raw squid, a seafood hotpot, mussels, and many more. This is in addition to our sashimi platter for 2 which had a wide variety of cuts. Overall, I would definitely come back since I love sashimi. However, it is pretty pricey so I would be checking this spot out for my next special occasion.

Best korean sushi place in east coast. It is bit pricey but when the food comes you will change ur mind. U get about 10 courses of foods, and some of the foods u can order it again for free. Service is good. Everyone greet ur arrival:) I love sushi & sashimi lunch. It's worth trying if u dont want to try pricey menu for ur first visit. Everything u try, u will be safisfy! Granteed~

I've passed by this place a million times without trying it and I'm so glad that I finally did. The sushi here is great and so are the additional Korean dishes that come with the meal. The prices are really reasonable when you see how big the portions are. We did the sashimi for 2 and with all the extras I think it could've fed 4! Yummy. Recommended for adventurous eaters

My friend took me to this restaurant. She introduced this place as her favorite one. It was located on the street off the area where most restaurans gather. I ordered the assorted seafood broth and she did Sashimi. They brought many side dishes including vegetable, seafood and fish. They were so good. My seafood broth was excellent with good flavor. I tasted her Sashmi of fluke and salmon. They were very good. The waitress was very kind . The owner was very friendly to my friend. I want to come to this restaurant again.

The food here is spectacular. I would consider this restaurant to be one of my all time favorites; the seafood is always fresh. I love the fresh uni and fresh lobster dishes. The sides they offer are always plentiful and never fail to impress.

Came here with my friends to eat live octopus. We ordered the salmon plate, tuna special set, and live octopus. This restaurant is a sister restaurant to Sik Gaek, another restaurant that serves live octopus. The difference is that Bada Story specializes in seafood, and is more pricey. When ordering the special set, it also comes with seafood pajun, octopus salad, mussel soup, udon, and seaweed wrapped around minced cooked salmon and rice. The presentation is stunning - the special sets come with stunning decor. Was my first time eating Korean sashimi and it was great. The fish were fresh. Some of the tuna pieces were still icy and thawing but the tuna set comes with various cuts (fatty, lean, etc). What I found interesting was that Korean sashimi cuts/slices are much thicker than Japanese sashimi. Because of this, and the restaurant being generous with the servings (we had four people total), the fish taste although fresh, can get overwhelming. We also tried to order uni (sea urchin) but they were running low and had to save their inventory for customers who were ordering the special sets. The live octopus is a dish that we were excited to try, but did not find it too intriguing. Taste wise, it tastes like raw octopus. Think Tako Wasabi without the wasabi flavor. Instead, you dip the octopus into the sesame oil and salt which gives it excellent flavor. The plate is served with octopus that is already cut into smaller pieces. We were a little bit disappointed that our octopus was not moving as much as we thought it would. However, when you try to grab it with a chopstick, it starts moving. When you put it into your mouth and start chewing, the tentacles stick to your teeth and give a sensation similar to having food stuck in between your teeth. Taking into account not having enough available inventory (uni), and considering the price vs value, I would lower my rating a wee bit to 3.5 out of 5. Definitely worth going once to experience Korean sashimi and live octopus, but there are better options for sushi/sashimi for the price.

Last Thursday I was there with family. But We r so disappointed. Sushi is ok but other food has problems. Too big piece and price not reasonable. Also food taste not that good. I m not recommended to this restaurant If u try to eat sushi i think u better go the others. Owner's must remade chef's cook

I am not that big of a fan of seafood. I like sushi rolls and rice and the "cheap" fish like salmon and tuna, but I'm terrible at eating "good" seafood like lobster and clams and octopus. Why did I even go to Bada Story? Idk... I was asking myself that question when we got a sashimi boat and a dying lobster was waving its final goodbye at me. But I'm sure you're reading this review to find out how the food is, not about how I was trying to get as farrrr away from that poor lobster as possible. If you are a seafood enthusiast, this is the place for you. When the four of us sat down, I think we were all wondering if we made a mistake in choosing this place. The prices on the menu were higher than expected, and the descriptions under each choice didn't do a good job of actually describing what we'd get. But damn, you get so much food! And it's not just raw seafood, you get soup and pajun and a whole bunch of other things (thank god). As for the sashimi? Super fresh. I may not be back but that's because of me, not them!

Love Love Love this place. Staff are very friendly unlike a lot of other Korean restaurant, they still treat you like a friend even if you are not Korean. Price are very reasonable for the foods they serve. Defiantly will go there again

We've come here on two occasions and it's never disappointed us. The seafood is always fresh. They give a lot of food for the amount you pay which is uncommon these days. The staff are always friendly and helpful. It's a fun and delicious experience. The fluke is always good. If you're not a fan of eating weird food stay away for. The sea cumcber and sea squirt.

This is a very clean cut and fresh-out-the water sushi/sashimi place. It's a bit more expensive than you would expect from a northern-blvd sushi place but I think the overall presentation as well as quality of the food is worth the money spent here. The workers are super attentive and check up on you very often. They bring you more alcohol as soon as they see you're running low which can be a good and a bad thing haha but love the attentiveness!! The presentation, like I mentioned before, of the food is absolutely beautiful and makes the food more appetizing. Although a bit pricey, if you want quality sushi, you should definitely check this place out!

After I put my review on Yelp, the manager of this place contacted me apologizing for the bad experience here. Now, they can seat up to ten people on the first floor. I appreciate the manager changing the seating policy so that it will accommodate their customers. Thank you!

At first we were scared by all the $300 platters. But the sub $100 sashimi platter for 2 ended up being more than enough for 4 people! A terrific value. We were served: an octopus salad, a corn dish, an egg custard, seafood pancake, and a completely gorgeous plate of sashimi that included uni, abalone, fluke, salmon, tuna, and octopus.

Food .. average nothing exceptional for the price you pay. The chef got skills when it comes to presentation of his sushi and sashimi. I give him 5 stars for that. Since we were the only people there I can't comment about the service but I did used the service button when necessary.

I was SO excited for this place and i want to love it but i cant. The place is big and has two floors (main level and downstairs). Service is OK (not very attentive but there are bells) and food is fresh and delicious but VERY SLOW. Ordered the set for $300+ to feed 6 people and it was way too much food. It could have easily fed 8 people but i attribute a part of that to the slow service. We were so full that we couldn't finish the soup at the end and just packed it to go. The meal comes out in courses and that makes the whole process so slow and the meal so long. The waits between the courses were unreasonable at times and we got pretty impatient and we ended up filling ourselves up on side dishes :( Even though we took the last course to go, we were there for two and a half hours. I will try other comparable places nearby because I hear service is much faster and better while maintaining the same fresh standard of fish.

Horrible horrible service. My waitress was taking a shot next table n instead of serving food. She randomly stopped by and dropped food without any comment. Food was fresh but worst service in flushing.

Korean style sashimi is lackluster at best in NYC these days; you get more of the irrelevant sides dishes which serves as nothing more than fillers from your run of the mill Korean sashimi places. I am happy to say that Bada Story is not your average Korean sashimi place. Menu items range from the typical udon noodles to live fluke sashimi course menus. At first glance prices do look expensive compared to other restaurants serving similar style of food. I took a leaf of fate in ordering the live fluke sashimi course, since my friend was really craving a Korean style sashimi, and I, a boy from Busan, a city famous for this type of cuisine was happy to oblige. From that point on it was just "Ooooo" and "Ahhhh" at the quality and the presentation of the food, dish after dish. After the sashimi was served, a traditional Korean fish stew dish called mae un tang is served with properly aged kimchee and rice. Overall, I have to say that this restaurant has to be the best Korean style sashimi experience offered in the NYC period. At the time of my visit, live fluke sashimi course was $129 + tax which can seem a bit on the pricy side if there are 2 people, but there is enough food for 3 to 4 people. Only thing that was better than the food would be the level of attention and service received from the staff. I am not sure if they are fluent English speakers, but they certainly were exceptionally friendly in Korean.

This review is on Sik Gaek Chun Ha's new store (next door), Bada Story, which just opened on Jan 25. Came here for their $5.99 hot lunch special on Chinese newspaper ad. Expecting a hot and cheap Korean lunch, however expectation is not met. 1. the lunch special on the menu is $14 and not $5.99 2. this location is more focus on "raw" items. 3. there is a language barrier. The serving staff speak Korean/Mandarin and we speak English/Cantonese. They don't seem to prefer to speak English. We did not ask about the $5.99 lunch special and decided to order something else on the menu: - seafood udon ($20) - 2.5 stars - it was just okay, will not order this again. It has a good amount of seafood (an egg, a big prawn, a big clam, many small mussels, squids, 2 pieces fish cake) with a small amount of udon. The broth is just okay and paled compared to the broth from the complimentary soup. - steamed crabs from an island in Korea ($60) - 4 stars - the dish has 6 crabs, shell is in beautiful red and the claws have spots on them, very fresh, sweet and yummy. Got the following complimentary items: - soup with small mussels - 4 stars - broth is delicious and quite peppery - steamed egg - 4 stars - hot and yummy. It was great that they gave us a second bowl too. - toro sushi - 4 stars - 6 pieces, very unique and feels like biting to a piece of hard fat. A. ate two pieces and T. ate three! - kimchi - ordered a bowl of rice and it never came. clean bathroom good service nice decor unique eats Instead of a cheap lunch, we ended up with a bill of $80+tax. However, enjoy the lunch and the experience. Warning: I paid my bill (with 20% tip) on my credit card. Got home and immediately got a credit card fraud alert. There was a $40 charge for a dating and escort service using my credit card after my restaurant bill. Not cool! Don't know if this charge is related to this restaurant, just to be on the safe side, pay cash.......

One of the best deals in town. Keep in mind that this is Korean style sushi so do not enter with any preconception of how the food should be served if you're used to Japanese sushi. I would suggest a whole fish set only if you have 4 people, or else all of the sides would go to waste. I've had the whole fish set twice I believe, and the sides are usually some crudités with Korean bean sauce, salad with gochujang (a revelation as far as salad goes) , mussels in soup, corn, sea squirts, scallion pancake, steamed eggs, and some hand rolls to top you off. Oh also make sure to get an extra plate of uni. Sometimes we come here just to get a plate of uni and then hit sik gaek next door. Plenty of street parking, but valet is also available.

raw seafood lovers rejoice! this place rocks! get a set for 129 or 149 and watch them serve you many delicious courses! this restaurant reminds me of little seafood joints i eat in when i go to korea. i will be back soon. very soon!

I just loved this place!!! If I could give more than 5 stars I would. The food was great and so was the service. One of the best service I have ever had in my life and I've had plenty amount of good and bad service so I would know. As for the food, my friends and I a group of 6 ordered the combo C? It service 5-6 people and it was way to much food but then again if there was one more person there wouldn't be enough food to go around...maybe... It was like a 12 course meal and everything was fresh to the max. You can just taste the freshness like you have never before! We were full way before the main course came. It was a bit pricey but it was definitely worth it! I wouldn't mind going back again.

I've bookmarked this place since forever and didn't come here until a coworker highly raved about it. I didn't even know where this was. It's right next door to Sik Gaek! $99 for sashimi platter for 2. But it also comes with a seafood pancake and a thousand other banchans (side dishes). It was packed but we got the last table (right by the door and window where people kept peeking in to watch me eat) -- sashimi was so fresh and all the side dishes filled me up. There was also raw squid and sea cucumbers, some hot soup, another hot soup, steamed egg, etc etc.

My friends and I came here for a bday dinner and ordered the D combo for 6 but really I think it is for 8 people. There was just so much food!!! We didnt even finish everything Service was amazing Sushi and sashimi was super fresh!!! Appetizers can definitely be better not sure but something in the beginning felt left out? Maybe something to cleanse the palette? It was mussel soup seafood pancakes egg, We had tuna galore plate. It was amazing! We also had something we did not enjoy but no fault to the restaurants just something we did not know how to appreciate. Sea cucumber? I tried to enjoy it. Its just not something I like. So my tip. Switch it out with something else just tell the waiter

0 stars if possible - This is a late review from early this summer, on May 31, 2015 but I felt like I needed to write this. Judging from most of these good reviews, maybe this food poisoning was a rare experience. But my family and I ate the $100 sashimi platter, which came with sea urchin/cucumber appetizers, etc. It tasted good at the moment. Two days afterward my dad, brother and I were sick with vomiting and diarrhea for more than a week. My mom, the only one who didn't eat the raw fish, was completely fine so we strongly think it was because of this restaurant. If so, this restaurant really needs to be more careful in handling the food and putting future customers in danger.

I went there with a friend yesterday for dinner and ordered a mixed sashimi for two which included uni, sea cucumber, sea abalone and different kinds of fish. I felt sick while sleeping and woke up and threw up everything that I had eaten. I presume it was a food poisoning.

I'll give them 4 stars for the sheer amount of food. SOOO cheap -$100 for a platter for 2?? At the same time, however, I expected a bit higher class of seafood after hearing about this place from an acquaintance - not the case. I know a lot of people complain about fluke - but the thing is, at least one of the most well-known Korean ways of eating sushi is with fluke, wrapped in lettuce with miso sauce (just like how they eat bbq). In fact, next time, I'm just going to go straight for the fluke only platter. I thoroughly enjoyed the never ending courses and even the corn cheese and squid noodle salad. I was a bit turned off after realizing that it was Shik Gaek's seafood counterpart, as Shik Gaek is definitely subpar food. The sushi was fresh for the most part, and I did like how attentive the service was - there's a service button if no one's around, but it seems like at least one of them is running around in circles to see if anyone needs anything. There's a downstairs area that I did not get to see but the number of patrons going downstairs was seamless. MAKE A RESERVATION - some say that they don't honor reservations? Ohhhh but they do. We were the last people to make it in without reservation at around 7 pm on a Friday night (before July 4th). It was INSANELY packed. They have a wall littered with notes on reservations and seating arrangements.

This is my girlfriend's favorite restaurant so I decided to come here on her recommendation. We ordered the sashimi combo platter for two (can feed at least 3 people) along with the live lobster dish. I was impressed by how fresh the seafood was and although it was quite pricy, Bada Story was definitely worth the extra buck with their selection of great food and huge array of side dishes. Would definitely come back!

To put it simple, this place serves B grade food for A grade price. I came here with a friend and got the sashimi assorted plate. The food was okay, but it should have been $20 less for quality. The Wasabi they make is banging though. The employees are pretty nice too. For first timers, they are very understanding and listen to anything you have to ask or say and also explain their menu to you as well as what would be a better option based on what you describe as your tastes.

I heard good thing about Bada Story, so one day after work I decide to go there to eat with my nephew and friends. Got to the restaurant and the host was taking us to the basement where there are lots of tables. We sat down and took a look at the menu and was a little surprised at how expensive dinner could be at Bada Story. So, I decided to order the boat for $200, I didn't know there were a lot of side dishes which comes with every main order. The sushi was very good quality, but I really enjoyed all the side dishes. The decor was ok and service was very good. Overall, if you're looking for some good sushi to eat in Queens, go to Bada Story.

The only Korean-style sushi place that I have been to in the New York metro area. The fish is fresh and good, the servings are generous, and the service is great. If it were not for the far-off location, I would frequent this place much more often. The best thing about Korean-style sushi is that the portions are much larger. The focus is not so much on the nuanced taste of each fish but more on the texture and the taste of the fish with fresh vegetables and sweet red pepper sauce. I also loved the mussel soup and the spicy fish stew at the end. Definitely worth the trip out to Queens!

wow, this place was amazing. did not know what to expect... i wouldnt recommend this place if you dont like raw fish... a friend of mine went and had the lobster sashimi, i was very intrigued to try myself.. it was $29.99 for two lobsters.. it was delish.. the claws though, was a little hard to eat, the meat was sticking to the claws.. though the lobsters were cut in half, it was still moving... the side sides consists of a whole platter of veggies with dipping sauce, salad, sea squirt, scallion pancake, steamed egg, corn, mussel soup and fried fish our main course was the whole fluke sashimi.. this really amazed me.. it was a lot more than i anticipated.. it also comes with a sashimi platter (4 pieces of tuna, salmon, squid, scallop, yellowtail, uni, abalone and something called worm spoon (that was the literal translation the waitress told us)... that alone was very filling, and then comes 4 spicy tuna hand rolls before the actual main course arrives. you get to choose the thickness of the cut.. we chose medium.. after that, they make soup out of the head and tail of the fish... the soup has veggies such as napa cabbage, zucchini, enoki mushroom, onion, scallion and tofu... it was on the spicy side but that is because i cant eat spicy... overall, the experience was amazing... the platter can very well feed 6 although we only had 4.. we couldnt finish and fish isnt something you doggie bag... id definitely go again.

It was awesome!! My family and I decided to try this restaurant after it was highly recommended by a friend of ours. I believed we over ordered tho. First of all, there were a lot of side dishes and you ask for more if you want. Our main dish was a flounder sashimi and along with that, it came with a sashimi boat. They had wonderful and fresh fishes and seafood. The umi were really sweet and all the other such as hamachi, abalone, salmon, and shrimp were all delicious. They also offered us a free set of salmon and tuna specially made by the chief. Personally, I didnt like the taste of the free dish since the salmon and tuna were soaked with oil and vinegar. I really like the food and the soup in the end with the best!!

Been going here for sushi for every time now and my family and I love it! The fish is always fresh and they don't give you an over bearing amount of appetizers that fill you up before the main arrives. The appetizers are pretty good. When I go we always get a set menu and its never failed us. Recently we've ordered the couples set which is enough for 3 people. It comes with a 2-3 appetizers, sashimi of choice, with a side of uni or abalone, tuna hand tolls, and fish stew at the end. The price may be expensive for some but I feel that its worth it! Definitely recommend!

    1. Sushi chef didn't know how to filet. He wan't able to distinguish difference of fish. All part of fish tasted same. 2. Service was okay. If he explained about menu better and spoke up, it could be better. 3. Atmosphere was good. New interior and new tables, etc.... I wouldn't go back there for a while.

Great Korean sashimi place. Tried the flounder and it was really fresh. They had homemade wasabi with that too. Also had some of the sea squirt, snails, squid, abalone, salmon and yellowtail. All were very good. In the end, they make a soup out of the fish head with vegetables. Very healthy, tasty and not much carbs unless you order rice.

Bad Bad Bad experience! The most important thing in a restaurant is the food and service for me. Well if the food is bad atleast have good service or the other way around. Well, this was the second time i've gone here. The first time, I went with my girl and ordered a fluke set. It was actually cool that time because when the sashimi plate comes out, the slices are placed on a big plate with dry ice and also the head of it which is still moving. That was pretty much it at the first visit. The service was decent no bad vibes. Pricewise, very expensive for sashimi fluke set, a little over $200 plus tip. The amount of side dishes kind of lacked compared to the other well-known local sushi/sashimi restarants. This part above I shouldve posted earlier but this was back on 2/14/12. (valentines day) My recent visit is the reason i was really upset actually spending money on a restaurant. When I go out to eat, and spend money on food has to be worth the price or either good service from servers. The first couple minutes water was not even served or asked for drinks etc. I asked for couple things couple times like water, napkins, soysauce, etc...at times waiter does not even answer ok i'll get that for u. We had like 3 different servers, all cranky, was actually uncomfortable to even ask for soy sauce(not at our table) The menu they have is very confusing to figure out what to order. Usually I ask the server what would be right amount for the people present, got the answer anything is fine. Could not really decide because of the high prices. Plates were $120ish and up a plate. The normal priced menu items like $20-30 were extras (not a full plate, hmm not a side dish) If you do not understand this, just go check out the menu. Ok, so we ordered a decent plate for 3. We literally had 4 side dishes. Had 3 bottles of soju. Our total was $200+tip again... i want to say more but don't want to actually write like a longer. Just horrible place to go if you want sushi/sashimi not worth the price, and I'm the type the person to spend lots of money if it's actually worth it. Ok but the only 1 good thing I can say for this place is they are the only sushi spot that is opened late in the area.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
